Heart Florals With Power

pink florals

If a paint tube smells bad it is. The pigment separated and created these chuncks in the paint. For some weird reason, bad paint gave interesting texture. Sadly the scanned flowers look like a pale gray pink, nothing like the sweet pink texture.

I’ll just repaint again. To make the petals you paint an opem heart. Then connect the two with one thick stroke. Yes the same can be done with a human heart. As for the thick line uniting a broken heart, it could be a song, a book, a walk among the stars, the very idea that there is no one like you, you are a living breathing soul and earthly love exists for you, writing, or painting.

Bad Paint-Intersting textures? That’s a good one too.

Guess I better go start on the book. I have two months to write, edit and scan all the art work for the book 100 Ways to Flower With Power.

Heart Shape Bubble Wrap You

have my heart. The dots didn’t come out as I expected. These petals are even better. I want my pictures to not come out so washed out. The color is much more vibrant. And it will be when I scan it.

The stem was practice for another flower I’ll be painting next week. It’s this aweome flower I captured on one of my nature walks. I’m building a collection on pinterest! What a week. I painted everything I wanted to paint, finished a workshop and still need to work on the course, oh and the butterfly.

What a week. What really helped is make and I will never forget Ms. Gorman’s words. Never.

Make something new

I am all about lovely backgrounds these days. Usually my work is colorful against a white background. I adore color. I am not sure but it’s a style that emphasizes color. That’s how I’ve painted. I’ve also deviated from blue a little. I always keep coming back. Blue is a tranquil color. It looks good on everyone. There’s tones of invitation, warmth, FAITH, melancholy, peace…I could go on. For one moment the lettering could have been blue. The lettering looks good in brown. That’s a note for this creative exploration journal.

For today I want to say have no doubt. Do what you must. Take care of you. The universe will always have yuor back.

This design was used with a dried raindrop stamp. Works great with paint! Oh I did paint a flower.

New post time is every day a 9 am pacific time with the occasional anytime weekend post.
