Favorites of 2020

Mireya

One of the best courses I took. I used different tools to create color and texture. It was interesting to see how the mood, and emotions varied from piece to piece.

Apples are as American as Apple Pie. There’s the Johnny Appleseed story. Out of all of these I created, the blue one stands out.

That’s a good one for taking care of your inner core. Taking care of your inner core is important because you can be your best and share that with the world.

Taking this graphic design course was around the time I read Learn By Heart.

I just want to have fun with this book. I’m still working on my summer plan. All the details are almost in place.

I sat and doodled away at some lines, patterns, and textures. Ok at first I referenced some Instagram faves. Then I just kept creating.

It’s like writing. It’s always good to just write and write even if it’s garbage. Eventually you’ll arrive at an awesome idea.

I’m coming up with ideas for my letters and gathering my thoughts.

It’s been a good day!

It’s always a better day when I paint. 

Seriously, I tried doing something I’m not good at. I was trying too hard. Then I sat on a Friday night and repainted.  

Oh goodness…
