Apply the color in dots. Spread with your finger. Pink ones. Yellow ones. Blue ones. Peach ones. Monotones. What a great idea. The very thought of art is my happy place. Definitely going to rescan this flower.

Sometimes it is such a releaf to let go and see what happens. Always! Maybe you accidently dip in the wrong color but now you know that with the right colors you have an awesome idea. Since 100 ways, I have ideas for stems and colors. These will make great little drops of happy. An artist, @ettavee mentioned this in a recent workshop. Any of course I was like yes! This is what my art means to me. Some people write the great song I can’t stop signing and don’t want to. I paint. I could do this forever. I am. I will!

May has come and gone. June is a good time to launch creative bloom. I’ll be working on a color project. There’s an idea related to my wise trees. I use trees to talk about my love of people. I could do the same with color? Ok now I’ll go try the seamless pattern tutorial again.

Hand Painting

Yes. How could I ever think I wouldn’t make 100 flowers? There are too many good ideas! I used the brush to mix pink and to paint the leaves. It’s not that I made the petals with my hand, fist. Maybe it’s the reminder to turn anger into a flower. A little, What captivates me is the idea that a simple idea can lead to something beautiful.

Ok I’m going to get to work on a book cover.

Yes that is all you need. That one little seed is the voice within. You know you can. Forget about the rules and paint brush. Make a mess. Clean up afterward.With a little leftover paint and a lot of curiosity I spread the paint with my index finger. I know the shapes of petals and just painted.

The best art always works out this way.

There’s No Right Way.

I may have over stamped. I wanted enough white space to create a breeze. There is a pink version. There is a yellow version. Flowers have different stems and leaves. I’ve been collecting flowers on my pinterst board, observing shape and color. I want variation.

I want another list. How can I decorate with flowers? Maybe do lettering? Flower Fields? Bold colors? I’ve got another hand print idea. Then it’s brush techniques.

My goal is to explore the many possibilites with one simple tool. There is no right way to paint a flower. Anything and everything is possible. Isn’t it great!

I created a board for 100 ways to flower with power. I’ll be adding more.
