I paint blooms of optimism, mostly. Sometimes a tree or a cultural influence helps me express the encouragement I feel. The colors, the patterns, the peace—I want to paint them all. Oh and using fun tools like Q-tips, paper rolls and finger painting is inspiring too. I’ve learned that there’s no right way to paint a flower because that’s all up to you.
