Now, this is a fun mug! Since I’ve been sketching, I haven’t worked on a collage project. I did paint three tea mugs. A mug vase? What a bright idea! These shades of pink, and the heart-shaped handle, love it!
College is always a wonderful surprise. I have fun painting the paper. The colors are pretty, The true beauty of the color and texture happens when I begin cutting and arranging. I had all these random colors. I had paper scraps. The scraps turned out to be right for the leaves and flowers. And I just drew shapes. I did have to cut the handle two or three times. The color scheme is exactly what I was feeling.
I’m going to go work on another fun mug to drink out of. Practice makes better. Right?
