Did I have fun? Yes! Love the color. Love the blue stamp texture. Going over the texture with diluted acrylic paint. Just a few drops. I like that too. Yellow ochre paint sealed the deal. I like the texture of the mechanical eraser stamp. Made me think of snakeskin. I don’t know how I feel about that. Holding these blooms in my hand, the color, the texture, they’re different, and fun. And I do want my art to be all the above.
My mind shifted to the pottery I see inside Anthropologie. The color and pattern always make me wonder who’s work this is. Somehow I’m encouraged to play.
