Far too often we see the finish line and forget to enjoy the process. Process is the most important part of creativity. Process helps me overcome doubt. When I think I’ve made a mistake, I keep going. Flowers always bloom with a little faith. The little faith is a voice that lives inside of you. It always tells you you’re ok, keep pushing, go a little further. The more you create the stronger your faith becomes. Faith in ourselves, even just a little, makes a world of difference.
There are so many layers to this piece. There’s the watercolor wash. I used wet on wet, back and forth brush strokes and spraying and splattering water. Then came collage papers. There were a few pink petals. The fourth step was digitizing and arranging. It turned out swell!
