I have never been into the dark side of halloween. Sure I am fascinated and intrigued with Anakin and Darth Vader. I am more of the harvest, pumpkin patch, and pumpkin cupcake kind of girl. Halloween costumes are a chance to step into the shoes of your favorite characters. You know the characters that make you wish you can roam the halls of Hogwarts. I’ve always wanted to be the aristocratic woman who refuses to live by societal norms.
Of course now I see that halloween is a reminder to always play and that we can always borrow the bravery, inspiration,wisdom and so much more of what it truly means to be you. Yeah. These characters bring out what we long to be. it’s our spirit that remidns us, I’m always here. I don’t know what you’ve been doing paying attention to all their nonsense but I’m here. Keep making art. Keep creating. I got you.
