No I didn’t paint a flower today. Or wait I did, of course but I’m posting a Butterfly. You choose a color combination. You paint brush strokes. Dip the tip of the brush in paint. Glide the brush on the paper. That’s it! You could do thin strokes, thick strokes, wide strokes. Go slow. Go fast. Use a dry brush. Wet brush. When the strokes dry, paint the Butterfly shape with watercolor. So many ideas. I’ve been trying to replicate my blue Butterfly. Every Butterfly like my paper roll flowers will be different. Different is beautiful. That’s the point. You learn to trust your ideas.
Oh and my dragonfly.
