All You Need Is An Eraser

peach floras

These flowers were made with a simple eraser and that’s my point. All you need is one simple idea to bloom. Just one.

Spring is coming and I have ideas. My book, my folder is filled with ideas that are beautiful. Others, yes I’m ready to throw away. My flowers have improved since the beginning of this project.

Today I wanted to recreate my thumbprint flower but the color and the texture were all wrong. I now see where I went wrong. The pink paint is thinner which helps in stamping smoother petals.

The other side of the spectrum is that often times the first idea is the best.
