Play is a must

Much time was spent recreating the Terracotta and Blue tone flowers. I almost did but it’s not exactly the same. Some firsts can’t be replicated. Every now and then I create amazing work. All of my work is amazing. Yes this is my blog, my art and my work is amazing. The day-to-day process is not always amazing In fact many times it’s not. That’s the beauty of every day practice. Ever piece of artwork leads to the next and the next. There’s a better word for it. PLAY. In play there is mistakes, curiosity and this unbelievable feeling of believing in yourself. Or is it believing in your work? Both. I can write in this journal that my work is amazing, believe it with my whole heart and feel good about not having all the answers. Well that’s a great lesson that comes from play and for the book.
