
You set out to draw what’s on your mind. It’s clear and beautiful. You apply water and droplets of color. The opposite happens. Where is the lesson in that? Everywhere. If you look closely you can see the first flower I formed, the one that was about to go in the trash. I got to work. I worked with one idea.
Stop trying to create the version you see, the version you’re thinking and keep going.
Rather than paint with all the answers, just paint. There’s no failure. There’s only works in progress. The only way to get to the good is to not get caught up in the wrongs.
Good work is happening this week. I’ve been drawing, the Butterfly is looking good and there’ s lots more to paint.
