Sunburst

Peruvian Starburst Mirrors are hand crafted with a centuries technique. These mirrors are beautiful. I love how the crafters say. The sun and the stars are both vital to our existence in different ways. The sun warms my cheek. A star warms me the same way. It’s a peaceful connection. I’ve been thinking about hand crafted art all over the world. Who are the people? How did this technique come to be? What does this mean for the Peruvian people.

To mix gold tones begin with yellow ochre, add a little brown and white gouache. Add a litte orange. I really want to learn all this worldy color. Color Harmony for Artists is really teaching me to use my colors.
