Years ago I did a food coloring fall tree. It was for an RSP class. I thought I had the images but I deleted them. I should check my backup phone files. I deleted them. Here’s an interesting link. Today I’m going to recreate this project. Only instead of coffee filters and food coloring I’ll be using India ink and tracing paper. Perhaps leaves too. Tracing paper has a different texture and weight than filter paper.
What a great idea! I could use tracing paper for collage. Thick acrylic paint with interesting textures. Adding drops of color to a ceramic plate and then pressing the paper into the paint works great. Eyedropper not so good.
I am grateful for every opportunity that I have to share my art. I welcome many more days. I believe it’s official . I like the name Creatively Hue. I am all about creating for a better you. By the way I keep a collection of all things that insprie my work. Yesterday I added a bunch of Corita Kent work to my hand lettering board. She’s such and inspiration.
