On Saturday morning, with butterflies in my heart, I read Ana & George. This was supposed to be my first book. The book that would set me on a path to confidence in my artistic abilities.
I didn’t know how to draw. And the verdict is still out on this one. All I know is I drew these characters and the little scenes.
Am I proud of my work? Yes! Do I need more practice? LOTS OF IT. I drew over 30 illustrations in a matter of two days. When I drew these, I drew with the intent of bringing my ideas to life.
I literally set up a color scheme and colored. Hadn’t used colored pencils in like ever, but I drew in a matter of TWO DAYS.
